Dr. Sanyogita Tara is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist committed to providing a holistic, personalised and evidenced-based quality-care to her patients. She has been in practice in various roles and capacities since 2002.
A mother of a young daughter, Sanyogita understands the importance of a candid and open dialogue. This characteristic reflects in her routine interaction with her patients who are, through consultation, kept abreast of the expectations along with uniquely tailored care plans, to ensure their wellbeing.

Being a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and having trained locally at Eastern Health (BoxHill & Angliss hospitals) & Monash Health, Dr. Tara, has contributed towards developing, reviewing and streamlining clinical practice guidelines & processes at hospitals under Eastern Health, whilst collaboratively engaging with peers and colleagues to perform as well as supervise research investigations.
Moreover, Monash University felicitated her with the membership and privileges of the “Golden Key International Honour Society” and has appointed her as an Adjunct Lecturer at the prestigious institution.
An ardent believer of sharing her experiences, Sanyogita has mentored many a medical students, Residents, and Registrars both at Eastern Health hospitals and at Monash University, to support their aspirations and help channel their strengths into their potential.
She has also been a supporter and participant of several charities, including the ‘Black Dog Institute’, which focusses on research into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders, and ‘The Mito Foundation’ centered around finding a cure for mitochondrial diseases.

All-in-all, she has earned her reputation, amongst colleagues, patients & friends, as an empathetic personality with strong values and work ethics.
